Johnny Carnage 1.1 update released

The 1st update for Johnny Carnage is now available for download. It features the following changes:
  • Increased enemy bullets visibility (20% bigger)
  • Darkened the lava level background a bit
  • Fixed some shoots not hitting enemies in certain situations.
  • Increased next girl/exit door marker size and notoriety.
  • Reduced a lot game difficulty (number of enemies and spawn rate, shoot frequency, bullet speed…).
  • Added “Bonus content” section, which generates an unlock code that will be used on future games.

1st Sushi Castle Unlocked DLC published and available!

Sushi Castle reached the 1st milestone for additional content some time ago, so we’ve kept our promise and included the new content in this update (for free).

This update features the following changes:

  • 1st Free DLC unlocked!
    • Added 50 new room layouts (Total of 200 layouts now).
    • Added a new special room: The Disco room.
  • New feature: Item list with the items you’ve discovered so far and their effect (items discovered prior to this update won’t appear, sorry!).
  • Hopefully fixed rare crash bug with laser beams.

Avatar Farm 1.7 update released!

This update addresses the issue introduced in the 1.6 update, that caused save game corruption when deleting buildings or tools.

You should be notified the next time you start the game.

Please, read this if you suffered the savegame corruption issue

This update should be able to recover your corrupted save game. To avoid losing your planted crops after some days without playing the game, there’s a little trick:

* Before resuming your game, go to settings and set simulation speed to 0.

* Resume your game. Time won’t advance since last time you saved your game (before the corruption), so no crops should be dead.

* Exit the game and set simulation speed back to 100 (or the value you feel most comfortable with).

Sushi Castle 1.1 update available now

The first update for Sushi Castle has been approved and should be available for download now. It features the following changes:

  • Fixed sushi message appearing after using a scroll for the first time
  • Reduced player hitbox size in 10%
  • Increased player speed by 5%
  • Fixed aspect ratio of the splash screen in 4:3 displays.
  • Fixed music volume “vibrating” when the game is paused.
  • Reduced health of some enemies
  • Increased damage of the Kamikaze skill by 60%.
  • Mitigated the effect of the poisoned sushi: It just leaves your health at a maximum of 3
  • Stat changes remain highlighted for more time.

Avatar Farm 1.6 submitted for approval

We have submitted Avatar Farm 1.6 for approval. It features the following changes:

  • Menu music plays correctly when starting the game.
  • Added Invert Y axis option in game settings.
  • Increased high score charts window size, and reduced text size, now it can be read properly.
  • Added a semitransparent preview when placing buildings, decorations and tools.
  • Buildings, decoration and tools can now be rotated when placed. The rotation depends on the direction your avatar is facing.
It should be available for download by this weekend or next week.

Avatar Farm patch 1.5 available now!

The 1.5 update for Avatar Farm got approved last week, but we we’ve been too busy to post it until now.

This update features the following changes:

  • Updated to the latest engine version, which should bring more performance and stability to the game.
  • Now you can run if you press the right trigger
  • When you can’t perform an action (such as trying to plant something too expensive), the reason is shown on screen.
  • The simulation speed when the game is not running can be reduced, or even disabled, on the settings.
  • Improved savegame autobackup system (2 backups are stored instead of 1).
  • The item currently being planted/placed is shown on the top left corner.

This should get rid, or at least dramatically reduce, the freeze issues many people were experiencing. Note: The engine update has a minor side effect: Due to a change in the game data saving system, Game settings and highscores saved on previous versions are ignored (No effect on actual saved games, don’t panic!). This means you will have to set again Music/Sound volume settings, etc. As for the highscores, they will be reshared once you start playing, so there should be no problem at all.

We have some more ideas for the next update, if the game keeps selling at a steady pace. Until then, have fun!

Little Racers STREET 1.2 available now!

After a long delay, Little Racers STREET 1.2 has been approved and is available for download. It features the following changes and additions:
  • New feature: Time trial. Now you can practice an event and go for a lap record anytime you like.
  • 2 New Camera modes: Rotating (A bit like cenital, but it always looks in the direction you are going) and Chase (A more typical racing game camera. This is more for show and fun than it is useful though!)
  • Fixed “Show Gamercard” not working on the multiplayer lobby
  • Fixed some multiplayer related crashes.
  • Player count HUD is properly updated when a player leaves
  • Selecting players in lobby works properly after joining a game in progress.
  • Now you can’t go back while finding games until the process is finished (could cause some stability issues). A message is shown in this case. We are aware this process can take some time (around 45 seconds), but we can’t do much about that.
  • Added a time limit of 10 seconds for each race results screen when in multiplayer.
  • Now games can be hosted/joined even for performance classes you don’t own yet: A stock car can be selected in this case.
  • Added 12 new tracks (approx. 45 new events), some of them with crosses for increased fun :).
  • New feature: Multiplayer games will be filled with AI cars if there aren’t enough players (Quick race has a default value of 6). With this, races will start even with just 1 player (he can race against AIs while he waits for people to join).
  • Custom multiplayer games (the ones created via the “Host game” menu) now require the host to press Start before the first race (this way, he can wait for friends to join before starting).
  • The HUD hides when you complete the race.
  • Fixed a crash when a host migration was performed on the lobby screen after a race.
  • Reworked the background tasks system (Hopefully fixing the P2P sharing freeze issue, and hopefully not creating new issues in the process :S ).
  • Gameplay should be smoother during P2P score shares.
  • Fixed a crash when kicking a player under some circumstances.

You’ll be prompted to download the game the next time you launch it.

Note: Multiplayer mode is not compatible between 1.1 and 1.2 : Games of different versions won’t appear when searching. You could be able to join 1.1 games via invites or guide, but it’s not going to work. Please update as soon as possible.

Little Racers STREET 1.1 now available!

The Little Racers STREET 1.1 update is now available for download. You should receive a notification the next time you start the game.

It features the following changes:

  • New feature: Online multiplayer (over Xbox LIVE and System Link)
    • Play over internet with your career mode cars.
    • Earn money on these races.
    • Includes quick join, party invites, host migration, etc. All to ensure the game keeps going on, no matter what happens!
  • New section: Lap Records (shared online)
  • Your car is highlighted in crowded situations (this can be disabled in settings).
  • Reduced difficulty for Medium level.
  • Increased number of AI players in Career mode to 300 (only applies if you delete the career mode).
  • Reduced car braking power.
  • Changed the way reverse works now (you don’t have to release and press the brake to use reverse).
  • Improved race selection screen: Added an event title and times you raced / won the event. Also it should be properly shown on SD TVs.
  • Fixed minor issue that caused to incorrectly show your place in the mountain part.
