It took more than expected, but White Noise Online v1.1 has been finally submitted for certification!
It features the following changes:
- New features
- New characters: Invisible Man and Woman, Chuck and Hannah
- New scenario: Isla Grande
- Some info is shown on the upper left corner when a player is talking.
- Added difficulty selection (previous setting is treated as “Normal”).
- Gameplay changes
- Changed Scout skill behavior to avoid accidentally causing other players to die.
- Other improvements
- You can hear the monster growl sometimes when it’s pursuing you.
- Changed the way positional sound and attenuation works (to have a better control over individual sound attenuations).
- Added a 4 seconds countdown when starting the game on the lobby, so players can have some time to select their character before starting.
- Bugfixes
- Fixed “black screen” issue when a player is playing online on a gamepad other than the first.
- Fixed critical error when redeeming bonus content codes.
- Fixed being able to climb to one of the hand statues.

Happy new year! Now the new website is up and running, we’re starting a new development diary so you can know what are we working on.
I can’t guarantee updates on a daily basis, but we’ll try to keep a steady rate.
So, what have we been doing lately? After a week vacation, we’ve gathered many reports and feedback from users for both White Noise and Avatar Farm Online, and we’re working on updates for both games.
Today we’ve been working on Avatar Farm Online, with the following changes:
- New animals (texture and stats variations mainly).
- Users with pending friend requests are no longer granted friend permissions.
- New feature: Move items.
- Now you can move buildings, animals and trees (you can’t move plants or plowed land, it just didn’t seem right). The way to do this will be by pressing X. To sell items, you will have now to press LT+X. We’ll add this to the How To Play section, but it may end in some confusion for the users, let’s hope we make it clear enough.
- When moving items, you’ll be in Move mode, you will have the preview of where to move, and can cancel anytime. We’ve had to check the system works in online (the move mode cancels if anyone sells or moves the same item before you do), as well as add new icons, new descriptions, etc.
- New plant: Mushrooms (high level plant with 20 minutes grow time).
- Fixed a minor issue with the preview of animal trucks.
There’s still a lot of things we want to add to this update, specially the pet feature (cute animals that follow the player around), and they won’t be finished until next week. Meanwhile, we have lots of pending bugfixes.

Some people have asked how to export their Avatar Farm 1 data to the new Avatar Farm Online. We understand it can be a bit bothersome, so we’re making a small post explaining it.
- First of all, you have to make sure you have the latest Avatar Farm 1 version: If you can see a QR code on the left part of the main menu, you have it.
- Now, there are two new buttons in the main menu. The first one is “Export Farm”. Use this one and you will get a 24 letters code. Write it down.
- This code contains the farm data (Experience and total farm worth in coins and cash) you will be able to import into Avatar Farm Online.
- Now, enter the Bonus Content section. You will get another code of 18 letters. Write it down too.
- This code is an unlock code to unlock some decoration items in Avatar Farm Online.
- Now, exit Avatar Farm and start Avatar Farm Online
- Go to “My Farms”, and select “Import Farm”. When asked, enter the first code you got (the long one).
- If the code is correct, you’ll be asked the name of the new farm, and a new farm will be created, with the experience, cash and coins you had in Avatar Farm 1 (including value of everything that was planted or built).
- Now, to unlock the bonus content, go back to the main menu and choose “Bonus Content”
- Now press A and enter the second code (the short one) when asked.
- Now you should have unlocked the Exclusive Avatar Farm sign decoration!
