Avatar Farm 1.3 update released
The third patch for Avatar Farm has been approved and is ready for download. You should be notified next time you start the game.
It features the following changes:
- Added some debugging info to P2P score sharing, to help detect and solve the freeze issue (it may be already fixed though)
- Fixed friend filtering on the high score list.
- Increased the initial coins-cash to 500 and 5.
- Increased a bit icon view distance.
- Fixed crash when opening the shop in certain circumstances.
- Added an automatic backup/restore feature to avoid data loss in case of freeze/crash.
- Increased the enhanced water truck capacity to 1,000 units. Now the fuel for this vehicle is payed with cash.
- Added a new vehicle (in two flavors): The Tree harvester.
- Fixed some plant categories. Now the plant/tree category is shown in the shop details (so you can know which items can be sold in each building).
- Increased daily reward to 500 coins and 1 cash.
- Increased level up money reward a bit.
Downloaded update and things seem great so far! Are you planning anymore levels higher than 20? Thanks for the tree harvester and the water tanker increase as these will REALLY help!

I love how you listen to the gamers and take our suggestions into consideration.
Loving the new Tree Harvester, expanded Water Truck capacity, and so far NO Freezing with P2P scores enabled.

I hate to say it but I have encountered the Freezing problem a few times now since this update, it does happen much less frequently but it is still there.
Yes, I have also encountered freezing – within an hour of getting the update actually. I’ve gotten used to playing with P2P disabled anyway and only update leaderboards occassionally, so it’s no big deal.
I do appreciate that you’ve added features with each update, so props to you on that. Now if you could just add some farm animals 🙂
Sadly the bug is already there. We’re still trying to fix it, but without a proper way to test it with a beta or similar, it’s really hard. Also each update takes longer to get published so that doesn’t help either.
We’ll keep searchign, though, because we want to get rid of it as soon as we can.

Just purchased the full game last night. When I played, last night the game ran good. Since playing it this morning, the game freezes up about every 20 minutes. I have about 100 plots, 40 trees, and have all the buildings. These freezes are driving me nuts. I have to get up, and turn the Xbox off, and then on again. I’m currently Level 11.
Disable P2P Scores on the Settings menu. A patch to try to fix it is waiting for approval, so it shouldn’t take long before is out.
i think adding land expansion will be great as to how much we can plant at any moment, plus having like a avatar house that way not only would you have tend the field your home as well,,great game
