Avatar Farm Online: Import and Bonus Content

Some people have asked how to export their Avatar Farm 1 data to the new Avatar Farm Online. We understand it can be a bit bothersome, so we’re making a small post explaining it.

  • First of all, you have to make sure you have the latest Avatar Farm 1 version: If you can see a QR code on the left part of the main menu, you have it.
  • Now, there are two new buttons in the main menu. The first one is “Export Farm”. Use this one and you will get a 24 letters code. Write it down.
  • This code contains the farm data (Experience and total farm worth in coins and cash) you will be able to import into Avatar Farm Online.
  • Now, enter the Bonus Content section. You will get another code of 18 letters. Write it down too.
  • This code is an unlock code to unlock some decoration items in Avatar Farm Online.
  • Now, exit Avatar Farm and start Avatar Farm Online
  • Go to “My Farms”, and select “Import Farm”. When asked, enter the first code you got (the long one).
  • If the code is correct, you’ll be asked the name of the new farm, and a new farm will be created, with the experience, cash and coins you had in Avatar Farm 1 (including value of everything that was planted or built).
  • Now, to unlock the bonus content, go back to the main menu and choose “Bonus Content”
  • Now press A and enter the second code (the short one) when asked.
  • Now you should have unlocked the Exclusive Avatar Farm sign decoration!

We hope this helps you better understand the export process. If you have any doubt, please ask.

Whats the point of the player level? Everything unlocks through farm level in game…

  • WaaghMan says:

Player level is only an indicative of player experience right now. We have plans to add some kind of skill improvement or perks using this level in the future.

    My code always says invalid

  • WaaghMan says:

Make sure you aren’t mistaking oes with zeros, they’re fairly similar, and make sure you’re using the same profile (the code will only work for a specific gamertag).

    I have mine exported succesfully… 🙂 …
You are welcome to visit “El Ranchito” whenever you want. 😉

I had someone make this suggestion for the game:

AvatarFarmOnline is good but it would be better if you could fish, catch insects, breed flowers, feed and breed animals.

I think it would be fun to catch fish and insects! And breed beetles!

  • KillinCupboards says:

Please add a Kick option, so we can kick players from our games.

I would also like individual permissions, so player X can have harvest, but player Y can have plant and harvest, however player D can only have Guest.

  • WaaghMan says:

A fishing pond sounds like a good idea, we’ll see what we can do about it ;).

  • WaaghMan says:

We didn’t add player specific permissions because it would be a lot of interface work, and usually Public and Friend does the trick.

I’m really suprised that almost nobody has set public permissions to Plant. The harm a player can make with that is very limited.

  • KillinCupboartds says:

    Harm? A lot of it!!!

This one guy came on my farm, and just started planting then removing, rinse and repeat, until I noticed what he was doing exactly and had to end the game. It cost me close to 10,000 coins, so wasn’t impressed.

Someone has to say it- Avatar Farm Online is a HAVEN for griefers!! 🙁

Fun game and all but those few can ruin it all in seconds.

  • WaaghMan says:

Plant/Build permissions do not allow item removal. Full permissions do. So just set your farm to Plant and everyone will be able to plant things, but not sell them (that’s why I said the harm they can do is low).

We may remove the Full permissions setting for public games in the next update, but the approval process is going really slow, so it will take a while.

  • James says:

Will we ever be able to change our farm name? or do we have to start all over, my farm name is the default My Farm

  • WaaghMan says:

Just so you know, the farm name is only for yourself, it’s not shared Online, so there should be no problem with having it named anyway you like (or not). It’s mostly to differentiate them if you have more than one in your list.

  • charlie says:

why should i have to pay for another avatr farm game when you have just released the online version thats like going to michael jacksons concert without seeing his white glove

  • James says:

Cause Avatar Farm Online is a whole new game

  • James says:

How come there is no Exit in the main menu of Online (Avatar Farm 1 has it but not Online) was there just no space in the main menu?

  • James says:

When players want to move a plowed land/animals/trees/buildings/decoration we have to recycle and buy it again, could there be a move option added?

  • WaaghMan says:

If you press B or back at the splash screen you will be able to exit the game. We made it this way so you can change profiles without issues.

  • WaaghMan says:

This problem is more interface related than anything else (there are no buttons left!). We’ll see what we can do.
