A Nightmare to Remember
The main feature of this update is the experimental party support. You can now invite friends and start looking for a game with enough slots available together, or create a private match and start playing.
If you find any issues please let us know and report them on the forums.
We also wanted to let you know that we’re on the final stretch towards release! (more news the following week). Until then, no more big content updates will be done, but we’re still working on them so rest assured they will come later!
New features:
- Experimental party support to create/find games as a group.
Improvements:
- Updated connectivity plugin, hopefully it will help solving network issues.
- Increased draw distance on high quality settings. This will help with trees/buildings being cut with the skybox.
- Most UI listings are now looped (you can go from the first to the last and viceversa).
Gameplay changes:
- Sanity loss is halved when a monster is grabbing someone, or teleporting away. (Since you’re forced to look at the monster at those points, it was too easy to become crazy while looking at the monster going away).
Bugfixes:
- Fixed bot getting stuck on a specific point in Alvira Bunker
- Fixed showing incorrect pose in the lobby when a player hasn’t selected a flashlight yet.
- Fixed highlights being shown for a second when an investigator is teleported away with a Cairn.
